Still here

I haven’t been here in a while and I’m still trying to figure out what to do with this and with my directories that are not working as I’d like.
But, on to something small and precise.
I try to be environmentally intelligent and thoughtful even though it isn’t always easy.  I have an O-Cedar spray mop.  I bought it because I was sick of the mess of those sponge mops and I hate sting mops that get smelly and just seem to shove dirt around.  I didn’t want a swiffer because it’s the epitome of wasteful disposable commerce.  The O-Cedar mop lets you fill the spray tank with whatever cleanser you want.  It uses washable chenille-like pads that are easily removable and can be tossed in a washing machine.  The spray mechanism seems to work well and I’ve had mine a while.
I have several of the pads and realized that I can remove the cleanser tank, spray the excess out of the mop, install a clean dry pad and use the mop and a dust mop.  It’s perfect.
I just moved into an apartment with newly refinished hardwood floors and using the dry mops this way picks up what I miss with a broom or vacuum cleaner.
I think there are other brands with similar mops but I happen to have an O-Cedar.  I wish I was getting paid for this advertisement.  happy
